Perouges Medieval town & Galette tasting:
Around 4 pm, visit the town of Perouges, a model of medieval architecture with narrow winding cobbled streets and ancient houses with half-timbered facades dating from the XIII century.
Discover the Fortress Church and the central "Tilleul Square", one of the best-preserved elements of this "cité" which main activities were linen weaving and farming.
Learn about French history as you discover this unique setting used several times for background movies including the 3 Musketeers.
Then, enjoy some free time to stroll through little craft souvenirs shops & boutiques.
Finally, taste the famous “Galette de Perouges”, the local pancake speciality with a glass of Cerdon sparkling wine.

Discovery of La Dombes, the region with 1000 small lakes:
At 2:00 pm, your English speaking driver-guide picks you up at your hotel in Lyon or close suburbs and transfer north-east of Lyon, to la Dombes region.
Start the afternon taking a road which makes you discover La Dombes region, a land which homes one thousand pounds and offer a rich wild life.
En route, stop several times to take pictures of this fascinating landscape which becomes one of the biggest bird sanctuaries in Europe hosting more than 400 bird species.
Learn about this sensitive eco-system shaped by men since the 11th century which is still today the first fish farming region in France.
