Presentation of the vineyards surrounding Lyon (20 minutes):
Wines from the Lyon region tasting begins with a presentation of the vineyards surrounding Lyon with their grape varieties, climates and terroirs in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Then 6 wines from the Côtes du Rhône, Beaujolais, Burgundy and Mâconnais vineyards are presented. Here is an example of tasting:
Whites: Pouilly Fuissé (Chardonnay), Saint Joseph white (Marsanne / Roussanne) and Condrieu (Viognier).
Reds: Côte de Brouilly (Gamay), Aloxe Corton (Pinot Noir) and Côte Rôtie (Syrah/shiraz).
Wine-tastings can be customized according to your tastes and desires, the request must be made at least one week in advance.
Each wine comes from winegrowers selected by us for the quality of their products, respect for nature and their passion for wine.

The tasting of the wines of Lyon region is conducted in good humor and conviviality. Our host describes and comments on each wine and lets the group freely discuss their impressions and tastes. He answers general or more technical questions precisely with simple and understandable language.
A platter of cheeses and charcuterie from the Lyon region accompanies the tasting and allows surprising food and wine pairings.
Each participant is given a wine-tasting notebook with geographical maps, wine-tasting forms, a wine glossary and a summary of the information given.
