How about a walking tour to discover the famous hidden passageways called "traboules” of Lyon Old Town, which ends with a nice tasting of the wines of Lyon in a private room? Join this shared tour of 12 people maximum and experience an unforgettable morning!

Walking Tour
Visit to Traboules in Lyon Old Town (1h00)
At 10:00 a.m., our guide will pick you up at the front door of the Tourist Office located on Place Bellecour. After the presentations, walk to Old Lyon and along the way discover different monuments that make up the history of Lyon.
Then, cross the majestic Saône river and reach the St Jean district, the heart of Old Lyon, a UNESCO world heritage site.
With your guide, it's time to discover the mysteries of the "traboules", these hidden passageways which connect two parallel streets through one or more buildings.
During this walk between light and darkness, open the door of several “Traboules” and discover a city within a city...
Already 11:15 a.m.! It's time for wine tasting!
Wine Tasting
Tasting of 5 wines from vineyards around Lyon in a private room (1h30):
Enter a magnificent apartment in Vieux Lyon and make yourself comfortable for a tasting of 5 wines from the wine regions around Lyon.
During this session of approximately 1h30, you taste 2 whites and 3 reds wines from winegrowers selected by us. On the program, wines from Burgundy (Pinot Noir), Mâconnais (Chardonnay), Beaujolais (Gamay) and Côtes du Rhône (Syrah / Viognier).
A cheese and charcuterie platter accompanies the tasting and allows nice food and wine pairings.
Along the wine-tasting, the group learns about the terroir, grape varieties, winemaking, etc. and freely exchange their impressions and tastes.
The session ends at 1:00 p.m.: a beautiful morning between Traboules and wine tasting!
Meeting Point / Location For Tour Departure
Meet your guide in front of the entrance door of the Lyon Tourist Office building located on Place Bellecour. The building is 50 meters from the Hôtel Le Royal and 50 meters from the Monop Store.
