The Venice of the Alps and its Lake

In the morning, after a 1h45 transfer by coach from Lyon, discover one of the most beautiful natural sites in France.

With your guide, begin the visit with a stroll through the pedestrian streets of Annecy old town and discover the main monuments including the imposing Palais de L'Isle dating from the 12th century.

Cross the many flowered bridges that span the canals and admire the large, colorful arcades of Rue Perrière. On Tuesdays and Fridays, enjoy the outdoor the market and stroll among the stalls offering local products such as cheese and cold meats.

At midday, have lunch in a local restaurant serving the famous Savoyard specialties: fondue, raclette, tartiflette, etc. Menus from €25 / not included.

In the early afternoon, board a boat for a one-hour cruise on Lake Annecy. Along the water, admire the magnificent alpine landscapes, the beautiful private residences and the small sleepy villages. Perhaps you will have the joy of coming across swans!

At the end of the cruise on the Lake, stroll through the Gardens of Europe to the Pont des Amours, the meeting place for lovers.

End the day with free time to buy some souvenirs or have a drink on one of the many terraces in the old town. Then return to Lyon for a drop-off at your hotel around 6:00 p.m.
