At 9:00 a.m., your comfortable 8-seater minibus departs from Place Bellecour towards the southern Beaujolais. Accompanied by your driver-guide, explore the Beaujolais Golden Stones wine region, considered one of the most beautiful in France.
Follow the famous Beaujolais wine route and pass through several picturesque villages built with ochre stone, typical of this unique region.
Next, visit Oingt, a charming medieval village listed among the most beautiful in France, with unforgettable street names like Tire-Laine, Coupe-Jarret, Traîne-Cul, and more.
Admire the stunning landscapes covered with centuries-old vineyards and learn about the history, geography, and exceptional terroir of the Golden Stones Country.
Wine Tasting
Beaujolais Wine Tasting: 2 Stops to Enjoy White, Red, Rosé, and Sparkling Wines:
Around 10:30 a.m., step into a typical Beaujolais wine cellar and discover the region’s sparkling wines. With your guide, sharpen your palate and explore the aromas during a tasting of 3 wines with commentary.
Then, continue to a small family-run vineyard and meet a passionate winemaker. Visit the estate and learn about vineyard work and the Beaujolais semi-carbonic fermentation method.
Finally, head to the tasting room to enjoy 4–5 Beaujolais wines, including a white, a rosé, and two reds.
