6 - The original Syrah
&Viognier
Come to explore the northern Rhône valley, the homeland of Syrah & Viognier and enter a glorious past which goes back to Roman times. A journey in the heart of the great rhone wines...
Tour highlights:
* At 9:00 am, the Kanpai's minibus will pick you up at your hotel of Lyon. Comfortable 8-seater minibus Volkswagen Caravelle.
* In the morning, experience a breathtaking view of Hermitage wine country from St Christopher Chapel, before wine tasting several rhone wines at "La Maison Chapoutier".
* At lunch, eat at Tain l'Hermitage or Tournon village in a local restaurant serving regional French cuisine. Menus starting from € 20 (not included).
* In the afternoon, walk on the vertigo inducing terraced slopes of Côte Brune & Côte Blonde in Ampuis before stopping at a family winery to taste Condrieu & Côte Rôtie; the Queen of the Côtes du Rhône wines.

L'Hermitage
Le Chevalier Sterimberg, las de pourfendre les Albigeois, se consacra à la prière et à la culture de la vigne en haut de la colline de Tain. Aujourd'hui, la légende de l'Ermite continue de s'écrire à travers de grands vins de renommée mondiale. Bouteilles : à partir de 20 €.
La Côte Rôtie & Condrieu
Un siècle avant notre ère, le vin de Vienne était déjà réputé à Rome. Les cépages Viognier et Syrah sont nés ici, sur ces reliefs escarpés. Ils donnent aux vins, dans leurs terroirs d'origine, une perfection quasi absolue.
