Peddle off the beaten track among vineyards, visit picturesques villages and immerse yourself in french wine traditions. Whether you are a cyclist with little practice or just a France visitor, this tour is for you!

Tour highlights:

* At 8:30 am , the Kanpai's minibus will pick you up at your Lyon Hotel and transfer you to the Beaujolais Golden Stones Country. Comfortable 8-seater minibus Volkswagen Caravelle..
* In the morning, you will be introduced to our professionnal bike guide and then get fitted with a bike and an helmet. After a short presentation of the rules-of-the-road as well as how to operate the bike, you will start the cycling tour from Theizé village. During the morning, we will cycle at you pace through vineyards and discover beautiful Beaujolais sceneries. We will make several stops to explain the sights & history and take photos in the vines.
* At lunch, we will stop at a family winery for a visit of the cellar and a Beaujolais wine tasting. Then, you will enjoy a delightful picnic among the vineyards with a nice view of Oingt medieval Village.
* In the afternoon, you will discover Oingt, listed as one of the 152 most beautiful village in France. Then, we will ride through Bagnols famous village for its castle from the 13th century and slowly cycle back to Theizé to end the tour at around 4:00 pm.
At the arrival, a second wine-maker will welcome you for a visit and and wine-tasting. Great friendly atmosphere guarantee!
* Return to Lyon at around 6:00 pm and drop off at your hotel.

Level practice: the tour is suitable for all levels of ability with mostly flat roads and few hills to climb. Average mileage: 10 miles in the day.
Longer routes are optional for those who may want more distance.
