At Only 1 hour 40 minutes away from Lyon, experience a fascinating journey which will take you into the heart of the great vineyards of Burgundy and its mythic “crus” wines: Chambertin, Clos Vougeot, Echezeaux, La Romanée-conti, Montrachet, Corton Charlemagne, etc. Indulge yourself and enter the legend!
Tour Highlights:
In the morning, discover the Côte de Beaune vineyards, homeland of Chardonnay grape. Cross the famous wine villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Volnay & Pommard and stop at a boutique family winery. Learn all the secrets about vine and wine with the wine-maker before catching the essence of his Chardonnay & pinot noir wines.
At lunch, savour a delicious meal in Beaune city and discover the burgundian cuisine. Menus start from € 18, not included.
In the afternoon, stroll through the elegant city of Beaune and visit the Hôtel Dieu building, a masterpiece of Flemish-influenced architecture. Then, drive through Côte de Nuits vineyards, homeland of Pinot Noir grape. Cross Nuits-St-Georges, Vougeot, Gevrey-Chambertin & Vosne-Romanée world known villages and stop at a prestigious Chateau. Enjoy the sights, aromas and flavours of sublime crus as you wine taste in an exclusive setting.
