Kanpai Tourisme and his bike partner Objectif Vélo organise for groups, guided cycling wine tours in the Beaujolais "Crus" Region, famous for its wines and castles.

At 8:15 AM, the Kanpai mini-bus will pick you up at your Lyon hotel and transfer you to the Beaujolais Crus Region.

Around 9:30 AM, you will get fitted with a bike and an helmet. After an introduction to the rules-of-the-road and bicycle orientation, you will start this nearly 15 miles tour from Regnié Durette well-known for its two church towers.

During the morning, we will bike at you pace through vineyards and discover beautiful Beaujolais sceneries with the Saône River meandering in the background.

At midday, we will arrive at the medieval castle of Corcelles (15th century) for a visit and a wine-tasting of Brouilly, Beaujolais Village and Burgundy Chardonnay. For lunch, we will eat together a "mâchon", a typical Beaujolais cold meal.

On the afternoon, we will stop at the Pizay Castle to visit its French gardens designed by Le Notre. Then, we will bike back slowly to Regnié Durette to end the tour around 4:00 PM.

At the arrival, we will go to a family winery for a second wine-tasting which will take place in a nice decorated "caveau". Great friendly atmosphere!!!

At 6:45 PM the Kanpai mini-bus will drop you off at you Lyon hotel.

Not included: any purchases in cellars or during the tour.
